Colorado Springs has almost 250 days of sunshine per year.

The Colorado Springs climate is dry and semi-arid, but the altitude keeps temperatures cool. Winters are actually mild, as Colorado Springs sits in a valley, but the surrounding mountains get snow as late as May.




Residents of the Springs area enjoy moderate temperatures throughout  the year. 
 
The average yearly precipitation is 15.42 inches and the snowfall averages 35.9 inches yearly. The average yearly humidity is 48 percent.
